The SFVTT was founded in 2000. The main aim of this learned society is to develop transfusion safety through biennial congresses, anchored in the field and the day-to-day work of those involved in the transfusion chain. This practical expertise enables it to pass on and share a wealth of know-how with healthcare professionals, for the benefit of blood donors and transfused patients.
