Summary of Session:
Transfusion complications are a risk of the transfusion of blood. Response to transfusion may be defined acute or delayed, hemolytic or non-hemolytic and immune or non-immune. This course will define categories of transfusion reactions, with applicable clinical response and laboratory investigation. Resolving the type of reaction and appropriate recommendations for further transfusions will be explored
